What was the highlight of Hotel La Hacienda Bahia Paracas
Best staff ever
This place has it all - nice location, wonderful balcony, excellent restaurant (some of the best meals we had during our trip), but the staff is what really makes it special. From the doormen to the waiters in the restaurant, they were the kindest and most professional staff we have encountered during our trip to Peru. The boat excursion provided by the hotel is three times the price of what you would pay in Paracas town, but I think it is worth it: the boat was nice, not too crowded as the regular tours, and both our captain and our guide were excellent. The in-site museum is also great. All in all, I would totally recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Paracas.
- Breakfast is good by Peruvian standards, but the choice is limited and the quality is rather average compared to the excellent dinner served in their restaurant. - One of their staff member on the reception was not as nice as the others (still nicer then anyone we met in Lima). - The large pool is not that warm, so we really only used the children’s pool (luckily there were no children at the time). - They have a jacuzzi, but it is not included in the price. Only after we payed for it, have we realized that it is not even private, so we politely declined the service. First of all, I think the jacuzzi should be included in the package when you have already payed such a high price for the hotel, but paying 20 dollars for a shared miniature pool feels like a rip-off. - Be aware that some ocean cruise lines are using this hotel as a base in Paracas, and the otherwise chill and romantic ambience can be ruined by loud, self-absorbed retirees (it is not the hotel’s fault and I think this might be the case for all luxury hotels in Paracas).

Best customer service around - particularly the young girl in the restaurant (sorry, can’t remember her name!)
Everything! Gorgeous place that should be 5 stars not 4! Originally booked this for one night before heading to a 5 star hotel, but this was 2000x times better so after one night in the five star hotel we cancelled our reservation and came back to La Hacienda! Such a relaxing place with incredible customer service and impeccable food!
Only thing that could be improved is perhaps replacing the pool tiles as they are discoloured (not dirty, just general wear over the years)

Great hotel for couples and families
Great hotel really, a gem in Paracas. They actually upgraded us for free, which was a very pleasant surprise. Service was phenomenal, staff were quick to respond and super friendly and helpful. Most were bilingual as well. Drinks from the restaurant made it to our room in about 5 minutes every time, they ordered our taxis, and always helped with luggage and opening the doors. Amazing pools, one is heated. The other pool is spacious but could use a deep end. The restaurant is amazing, food, desserts, and drinks were delicious and the waiters were attentive and friendly. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the massages at their spa so much the first time, we ended up scheduling some the following day. The spa in the suite was really nice as well, only recommendation would be slanting both side of the spa so a couple can really enjoy it together. Museum was also a lot nicer than we expected, history from all parts of Peru are there. Game area was a nice little area, ping pong, foosball, darts, and pool. They also have indoor rock climbing there (mostly for kids but adults can do it too). There is even a trampoline outside, my girlfriend and I are adults but still took a turn on that.
Not really anything to dislike when typically I can be a little critical of hotels, especially if you are paying a lot. Great all around spot.

Modern, clean, great pool, and fabulous food. But by far the best of this was the friendly staff. Cannot recommend La Hacienda any more strongly than I am with my ratings.
